Lotfi Hadad 

Syrian novelist, poet and intellectual. He writes in his native language, Arabic.

 His main interest is the religious and political conflicts in the Middle East, and Human Rights violations over there.

 He has 6 novels, 3 poetry books, 2 intellectual books (Islam Through Christian Eyes, Mandela of Arabs), and 2 Anthologies: Anthology of  Contemporary Arabic Writers in the Diaspora, and Anthology of Contemporary Arab American Writers.

 He lives in Indiana with his wife and two daughters.
